Halo Chlor Install in Melbourne
We recently installed a new Halo system as well as a Viron XT variable speed pump to a client pool in Melbourne.
The Halo system is some of the latest pool technology and is more than just a chlorinator. It can also control other pool equipment such as a variable speed pump, as well as any pool heating options such as solar heating, a heat pump or gas heating, with pool lights and auto valves also able to be controlled via this system.
In this case, we added the ORP & pH bundle with probes to monitor chlorine and pH levels and adjust as required, as well as integrate the Viron Variable Speed Pump. The Halo system is connected via wifi and monitoring and management are done via the smartphone app.
The Viron Variable Speed Pump is designed to reduce power usage and save on electricity bills as it can be set to run at lower speeds whilst filtering and ramped up to higher speeds when needed for backwashing or manually vacuuming the pool etc.
As it spends most of the time filtering on lower speeds, the cost savings can be significant over the life of the pump.
This installation will not only help the client reduce their pool costs through reduced power and chemical consumption, but it will also reduce their need to balance their pool as often, they’ll have fewer water quality issues and be able to enjoy their pool whenever they want!
