Our talented young technician, Zeke, recently completed another pool equipment installation, showcasing his expertise and dedication to the craft.
Despite his young age of 21, Zeke has been training with our team for two years, honing his skills and knowledge in the field. Prior to that he worked in the store as a summer casual for two seasons. We are proud to announce that he is taking on installations independently, and his recent project is a testament to his capabilities.
The client approached us needing to upgrade their pool’s filtration system and transition to a saltwater chlorination system, eliminating the need for time-consuming manual chlorine addition. Zeke took on the challenge and successfully installed the new equipment, ensuring a seamless transition for the client.
Saltwater chlorination systems have become a staple of swimming pool management due to their convenience and effectiveness. These systems work by converting salt into chlorine through a process called electrolysis.
The saltwater passes through an electrolytic cell, which applies an electrical current to the water, causing the salt to break down into chlorine and other byproducts. The newly generated chlorine then sanitises the pool water, keeping it clean and safe for swimmers. As the chlorine is used up, it reverts back to salt, and the process repeats itself, creating a self-sustaining cycle.
