With almost 20 years experience in the swimming pool and spa industry, I’m passionate about helping our customers get the most out of their pools and spas. I’ve owned My Pool Shop Melbourne since 2018 and previously owned the pool store in Lilydale. Our focus is simple: Share our knowledge to help people care for their pools & spa’s whether that’s DIY or if you have us do it for you. We have a friendly, knowledgeable team who genuinely care. Whether it’s in-store water testing or regular pool maintenance or perhaps a more complex pool system issue, we’re here to make pool and spa care easy, effective, and stress-free — “because everyone deserves a safe and healthy pool.”

We are thrilled to have Jasmin on board this season, bringing over two years of experience in the pool and spa industry. Her solid understanding of water chemistry and pool maintenance provide a firm foundation for advising customers how to keep their pools in top shape. When she’s not assisting customers, you’ll often find her immersed in music, exploring photography, or studying for her journalism degree. We’re also excited to welcome back James for his third season with us! James has a deep knowledge of water chemistry which he is eager to share. Easily recognisable by his height and trademark Akubra, he’ll be with us a few days each week assisting with water testing and equipment enquiries. Always up for a friendly chat especially about military history or his work as a volunteer tour guide at his local RSL museum James is known for his enthusiasm and excellent service. And of course, he’s always happy to help reach those high shelves! We’re proud to have both Jasmin and James on board this season and they’re looking forward to helping you make the most of your pool and spa this summer. Lachlan – Senior Service Technician: With nearly 15 years in the pool industry, Lachlan’s passion for pools runs deep. His extensive knowledge of water chemistry and equipment comes with a fair warning: he’ll happily dive into the technical details if you get him started! Away from the pool deck, Lachlan channels his creativity into home projects, crafting his own pasta sauce, pickles, and relishes. He’s also quite the resourceful handyman, transforming pallet timber and hard rubbish finds into beautiful home furnishings. Zeke: Service Technician. Starting as a summer casual in our retail store during his final school years, Zeke has developed into a skilled service technician. His dedication to professional development shows through his completion of multiple SPASA courses, including Pool Hydraulics and water testing & analysis. You’ll find Zeke performing regular pool maintenance, and installing a range of equipment such as pumps and filters. Always eager to learn, he partners with senior technicians on larger installations to expand his expertise. When he’s not keeping pools pristine, Zeke stays active playing football and futsal around the Monbulk area. Santiago: Regular Service Technician. Santiago started with us as a summer casual in 2024 and quickly proved himself a valuable addition to the team. After which he was offered a full-time role as an on-site technician a challenge he gladly accepted. Since then, he’s been servicing pools and delivering great results with a smile. He loves the variety the job brings. Originally from Argentina, with Chinese heritage, Santiago speaks Spanish, Chinese, and English so don’t be surprised if you hear him switching languages on the job! Outside of work, Santiago enjoys a quieter pace. He’s a self-confessed homebody who likes cooking, spending time with his family, and relaxing with his two cats.
